Positive Parenting Program
SJSP and the Positive Parenting Program have collaborated to provide an interactive and informative workshop for SJSP parents. This is a three-part workshop designed to help parents learn how to use simple, practical, and powerful strategies to strengthen their family. It is most effective if you attend all three parts. Topics will include resiliency, independence, respect, and cooperation in children. The curriculum is based on Triple P America, a research-based program that has shown to promote family harmony, reduce parent-child conflict, foster successful peer relationships, and prepare children for successful experiences at school. Hand Up Food Pantry Jewish family Service Food Bank program The Jewish Family Service Food Pantry offers food bags to those in need due to the homelessness, financial difficulties, transitional issues and/or other crisis issues. Food bags are available to any person regardless of race, age or religion. The Food Pantry contributes to the well-being of the general community as well as helping those in the Jewish community in times of need. Any individual is eligible to receive food bags from the JFS Food Bank.
