Adam Covalt

Adam CovaltAdam started with J*Company at the age of seven, with the show Oklahoma! under the direction and guidance of Becky Cherlin Baird. He was fortunate to play a wide variety of roles during his time at J*Company including: Cosmo in Singin’ In The Rain, Jack in Into the Woods, Seymour in Little Shop Of Horrors (National Youth Theatre Award), and The Guy/Everyone Else in the Youth World Premiere of Suds (National Youth Theatre Award). Whilst at J*Company, Adam also attended the San Diego School for The Creative and Performing Arts (SDSCPA), where he received acting, dance, and choral training from Bill Doyle, Donald Robinson, and Gail McKinney. Favorite roles at SDSCPA include: Billy Lawler in 42nd St., Dr. Wally in Marvin’s Room, Tony in West Side Story, Robert in Company!, and Jean Valjean in Les Miserables (National Youth Theatre Award). The highlight of his time in San Diego was originating the role of Nathan at the Old Globe Theatre, in the World Premiere of The Full Monty, under director Jack O’Brien. At present, Adam is attending New York University’s Tisch School of The Arts, earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, with a minor in Political Science. Between semesters, whilst working with the summer youth theatre program, Adam has enjoyed getting to know new artistic director, Joey Landwehr. Special thanks to his voice teacher/life consultant of eight years, Roy Mote.


Cailene Kilcoyne

Cailene KilcoyneCailene’s past productions at J*Company include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator), Suessical the Musical (Sour Kangaroo), and Once Upon a Mattress (Princess Winifred) for which she took home a Billie Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical. She also appeared on the Starlight stage in Jekyll & Hyde (Featured Ensemble/Newsboy). Cailene came in 3rd place in J*Company’s first ever Project CenterStage in 2007. She is currently getting her BFA in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory.


Matt Wagner

Matt WagnerMatt started at J*Company in the year 2000, appearing in Peter Pan (Pirate), Singin’ in the Rain (“Sound Engineer”, Ensemble), Annie (Officer/Fred/Ensemble), Hello, Tomorrow (Spotlight operator), Alexander and the…(Copy Kid), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Bookseller/Wolf) just to name a few. Matt was also involved at Torrey Pines High School with many productions each year, his favorites being The Wild Party (Sound Technician, 2003), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Durdles/Mr. Nick Cricker, 2005), Inherit the Wind (Ensemble, 2005), Pirates of Penzance (Pirate, 2006), and Candide (Student co-Director, 2007). He was also fortunate enough, in the summer of 2006, to be able to perform in a production of Pippin at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival. Matt is currently majoring in Government at Georgetown University.
