Like Water On Rock:
Exhibit by the Jewish Women Artists’ Network

Teresa Gale |
Sept.10, 2009–Oct. 30, 2009
Our first show of the season is a juried
national exhibition of painting, sculpture,
collage, drawing, photography, and
installation by Jewish women artists
from across the United States. The
images portray the persistence of change
and the many layers of meaning that
speak to each artist in her own way. |

and 2008 by the late San Diego based
artist Manny Farber. This show presents
prime examples of Mr. Farber’s wonderfully
vibrant artwork and spans the artist’s
most active and prolific years before his
death in 2008 at the age of 91. |
Jews Rock!:
A Photographic
Celebration of Rock and Roll’s
Jewish Heritage

Janet Macoska
|
March 10, 2010—May 19, 2010
More than 60 years after the birth of rock
and roll, the importance of Jews in this
genre cannot be overstated. Rock and
roll is the soundtrack of our lives and
photo journalist Janet Macoska has now
provided the visuals. Since 1974,
Macoska has been capturing rock’s
greatest on film. This exhibit features 25
photos of Jewish musicians – many of
them icons in the industry - who are the
faces of rock and roll. |
